Mitchell Park Improvements Survey

Thanks to Tucson Delivers Proposition 407 bond funding, Mitchell Park, 1100 E. Mitchell Street, will soon receive an updated irrigation system and more shade to provide cooling respite for birthday parties, family picnics, and more. A survey was open in January 2025 to help shape your park improvements. Thanks for sharing your feedback! You can view the results below.

Parks and Recreation is using your input to guide the design of shade and landscape enhancements that re-establish functional turf/ grass areas for play, and add trees, shrubs and passive rainwater harvesting where possible. We’ll check back in with the community to review a draft planting concept in early spring. Stay tuned!
