El Presidio Historic Zone Advisory Board

The El Presidio Historic Zone Advisory Board (EPHZAB) provides recommendations to the Planning and Development Services Department (PDSD) director and the Plans Review Subcommittee of the Tucson-Pima County Historical Commission. An official City of Tucson advisory board overseen by the City Clerk's Office, EPHZAB reviews proposed exterior changes, demolitions, and additions. City regulations (Unified Development Code, Section 5.8) require property owners in Historic Preservation Zones (HPZ) to obtain review and approval for any exterior changes or additions before starting demolition or construction.
