DAC Meter Application

This form should be used for submitting application for Dead-at-Curb (DAC) meter installation.

"Dead-at-Curb" refers to a service line that is already installed into the ground, and ready for a meter to be installed.

At this time, the DAC meter application form is ONLY available for new development subdivisions. Please fill out a form for each address for which you are applying.

Please do not use this form if you are requesting a meter for an established main line or for full service tap.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect after I submit my form?

  • Once your form is submitted, it is sent to the New Services staff at Tucson Water. You do NOT have to submit anything hard copy.
  • Once the initial review is complete and no fields of information are incorrect or missing, New Services staff will send an email that includes information on payment.
  • Once payment is received, a work order for your application will be sent to the field.

How do you accept payment?

Tucson Water prefers online payments. Once your application is initially reviewed for accuracy and completeness, a payment link will be sent to you.

Select E-Check if you want to make one payment for the whole amount due on the account, and then press continue. You can then enter your banking account information and continue with the final steps in the payment process.

If paying by Credit/Debit Card online through our website, you will need to split the payments into $1,000.00 increments making multiple payments per account, until the amount due has been met, up to $5,000.00 maximum per account per month. We know this can be frustrating; this restriction is set by Tucson Water’s payment processor.

Example: if amount due is $1,762.00 it would require one payment of $1,000.00, and a second payment of $762.00.

Other options include:

Walk-in address:

201 N Stone Ave, 1st Floor Cashier

Mailing address:

201 N Stone Ave

ATTN: New Services, 1st Floor

Tucson, AZ 85701

How do I know if my plan is approved?

You cannot progress with your application unless your plan has been approved. Your plan is approved if you have a plan number in the lower right corner of your plan. In the example below, the Plan number is “2-067-2021"

Please note: your plan number is different from your development number.
